Curd rice is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It’s easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. Curd rice is something that I have loved my entire life. They are nice and they look wonderful.

Curd rice or Yogurt rice is a simple delicacy made in South India. Cooked rice is combined with curd or yoghurt and then seasoned with chilly, curry leaves. Curd rice is nothing but curd (yogurt) mixed with cooked rice, herbs and then tempered. Curd rice is also known as thayir sadam or daddojanam or bagala bath in some South Indian languages.

  1. Take 1 cup rice (cooked, perfect for leftover rice)
  2. Make ready 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

  6. Get 4 tbsp curd or yoghurt (i usually make mine at home, dont like ready made?
  7. Get 3 green chillies (optional)
  8. Prepare 1 small onion, chopped
  9. Take 1 clove garlic, finely chopped

Allow to cook for about 1 minute. Voila, the rice is cooked. Pairs up with anythinnnnngggg or can be eaten on its own
  3. You can even add veggies to it, use brown rice, add some potatoes and you are good to go
