Prepare For cake sponge
Prepare 100 gms maida
Get 50 gms butter

Instructions to make Fresh Strawberry cake:
For the sponge cake grease a square baking tin with butter & dust it with some maida & keep aside. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 180°c.
Sieve maida with baking powder and baking soda and keep aside, in a mixing bowl take butter, add condensed milk & mix well, then add strawberry essence mix well, then add maida mixture & water & make a nice batter, pour the batter into a baking mould & bake it for 30min over 180°c in a preheated oven.
Chop 1cup strawberries & add 3tsp sugar to them and keep aside. Also slice 1 cup of strawberries & add 1tsp sugar to it & keep aside.
Once the cake cools down, slice it into 2 equal pieces using a sharp knife, then soak the bottom layer with sugar syrup, spread 2tbsp of whipped cream on it, place chopped strawberries on it & spread it with a palate knife, again add 2tbsp whipped cream spread evenly & cover it with top layer of the cake.
Soak the top layer lightly with sugar syrup, cover it evenly with whipped cream using palate knife & decorate it with strawberry slices.
Cool the cake for atleast 3 hours before cutting it.
