Spaghetti with prawns, baby spinach, chilli and garlic is something which I have loved my entire life. They’re fine and they look fantastic.

A quick, light pasta dish that's easy to make and even easier to consume. Cook spaghetti according to packet instructions. Drain spaghetti and add to pan with lemon juice and finely grated. Add enough water to loosen everything.

The ingredients needed to make Spaghetti with prawns, baby spinach, chilli and garlic:
  1. Prepare 200 g spaghetti or linguini
  2. Take 1 bag (washed) baby spinach
  3. Make ready 2 red chillies
  4. Prepare 4 cloves garlic
  5. Take 1 pkt king prawns. (Raw best)
  6. Make ready 3-4 tbsp rapeseed oil
  7. Prepare Parmesan to finish

This one is called Spaghetti with prawns and spinach, and was inspired by an Italian chef called Gino D'Acampo. Pasta should be cooked al dente. Cook on high until the prawns turn pink. Drain the spaghetti and add to the frying pan, mix to coat with the oil.

Instructions to make Spaghetti with prawns, baby spinach, chilli and garlic:
  1. Deseed and finely chop chilli and the garlic together.
  2. Start cooking the pasta in a large pan of rapidly boiling salted water. Give a stir to prevent sticking.
  3. Gently warm the oil in a large frying pan. Add in the garlic and chilli to soften and infuse. Taking care not to overheat/catch or burn the garlic.
  4. Add the prawns. If using raw tiger prawns make sure they have fully changed colour and gone pink. If using pre cooked prawns ensure they have been heated throughly being careful not to over cook as they can go rubbery. Remove from heat.
  5. Meanwhile pick over the spinach, removing a lot of the larger stalks (you don’t need to remove every single one) place baby spinach in a colander and pour through a Kettle of boiling water to wilt down sufficiently. Allow to drain, squeeze out a little of the excess moisture and add to the pan.
  6. At this point you could add optional flavour extras like nutmeg or smoked paprika. I like to keep this one simple though. Fully drain the pasta and combine in the frying pan, season generously.
  7. Serve topped with lots of finely grated Parmesan a good turn of cracked black pepper and if you like a little more heat a few chipotle chilli flakes.

Cook on high until the prawns turn pink. Drain the spaghetti and add to the frying pan, mix to coat with the oil. Cut chilli peppers in half; remove the seeds and slice. Prawns & Spaghetti in a Tomato, Chilli & Garlic Sauce. When the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and add to the tomato & prawn sauce along with the parsley or coriander.
