To begin with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook daal (dalithoy) using 10 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Daal (Dalithoy):
  1. Take 1 cup toor dal
  2. Prepare 3-4 green chillies
  3. Take 1 inch piece ginger
  4. Take 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  5. Take 1 tablespoons chopped Coriander leaves
  6. Take 1 tablespoons ghee
  7. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  8. Prepare 1 teaspoon red chilli
  9. Get Pinch hing
  10. Get Salt as per taste
Instructions to make Daal (Dalithoy):
  1. Cook dal in pressure cooker with a pinch of turmeric, salt, green chillies and finely chopped ginger.
  2. Then heat pan put ghee then add mustang seeds, hing, red chilli and pour on to dal.
  3. Serve with hot rice, ghee and lemon.
