  5. Take 1 tbsp Red chilli flakes
  6. Take 1 tsp Black Pepper powder
  7. Get 2-3 Green Chillies finely chopped (optional)
  8. Get 1 bunch Spring Onions chopped
  9. Prepare 1 small bunch Coriander Leaves finely chopped
  10. Prepare 1 tsp Cumin powder
  11. Prepare 1 cup Mixed Veggies of choice
  12. Make ready 1 Onion finely chopped
  13. Prepare 1 "Cinnamon sticks
  14. Take 10-12 Black Peppercorns
  15. Make ready 2 nos Bay Leaves
  16. Make ready 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  17. Make ready 4-5 tbsp Oil
Steps to make Chicken Zeera Fried Rice:
  1. In a pan, heat oil, then add the onions and minced ginger garlic and saute for a minute. Once it's done, add in all the veggies, green chillies, chicken, plus all the spices and stir fry for a while. Then cover with a lid and let it simmer on a low heat for 20-22 minutes. Veggies can be excluded totally.
  2. Meanwhile, in a cooking pot, add Oil. To this, add in the cumin seeds and bay leaves, you can also add other whole masalas such as cinnamon, black peppercorns
  3. For this you can either use freshly cooked Rice or leftovers. If making fresh Rice, do it accordingly. Add this Rice to the cooked Chicken and give it all a good mix but very gently. Garnish with Coriander and Mint Leaves chopped. Simmer for at least 15 more minutes. This piping hot awesome fusion can be served with any Indian side dish with gravy, Chicken Manchurian or any Chinese side dish as well.
