  25. Prepare 2 tbsp Green split Dal
  26. Take 1 cup Rice
  27. Take 1 teaspoon Haldi powder
  28. Get 1 onion (Chopped)
  29. Take 1 tomato (Chopped)
  30. Take 1 green chili (Chopped)
  31. Make ready 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  32. Take 1 tbsp Ghee
  33. Make ready 1 tbsp oil
  34. Prepare 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  35. Make ready As required Water
Steps to make Kadhi kichdi with Achari aloo:
  1. For Kadhi : Take a 1 cup Besan and water and mix it well. without any lumps. Another bowl add Buttermilk.
  2. Now take a Bottom Pan add oil heat up and add Rai muster seed. Curry leaves. chopped Garlic.saute for 1 to 2 minutes. Now add Chopped onion and Green chilli. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.add red chilli powder.Haldi powder salt and mix it well. Now add prepare Besan mixture.and continue stir without any lumps. Just one boil and flame on medium and cook for 45 minutes. Later the mixture strat a thicken adjust the consitency as required.then transfer the mixture in a serving bowl.Kadhi is ready.
  3. For achari aloo : wash and peel potato and cut into Small cube. Kadai on heat add oil and jeera,green chili and cook for 45 second. And Achar Masala.and saute for 2 minutes. Now add Cubes Potato and add red chilli powder,Haldi powder. Salt and mix it well. Cover the lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. potato are soft. Achari aloo is ready.
  4. For Kichdi : wash and soaked green split moong Dal rice for 20 to 25 minutes.. Drain off the water. And add pressure cooker Dal rice and add 3.5 cup water add Haldi powder salt And pressure cook on high flame 4 whistle.the rice and Dal are soft and mushy set a side.to another pan on medium heat add Ghee & oil and add musterd seed.and Hing green chili and onion and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Now add chopped tomato and red chilli powder.salt and cook for tomato turn soft and mushy.
  5. Now pour the tadka on Khichdi and 1 teaspoon of ghee and cover the lid for 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. Ready to serve. Serve hot.
